혁신 스타트업의 세계무대 도약 지원…기술 선도자 글로벌 네트워크 구축

경기도 대표단이 6월 24일부터 26일까지 중국 톈진에서 열리는 ‘2025 세계경제포럼 뉴 챔피언 연차총회(AMNC 2025)’에 참석해 도내 스타트업의 글로벌 진출을 위한 본격 행보에 나섰다.

이번 대표단은 고영인 경기도 경제부지사를 단장으로 구성됐으며, 김현대 경기도 4차산업혁명센터장을 비롯해 세계경제포럼(WEF) 스타트업 육성 프로그램 선정기업 대표들이 포함됐다.

세계경제포럼이 주최하는 AMNC는 ‘하계 다보스포럼’으로도 불리며, 매년 다롄과 톈진에서 번갈아 개최된다.
올해는 ‘새로운 시대를 위한 기업가 정신’을 주제로, △사람과 지구에 대한 투자 △중국에 대한 전망 △산업 격변 △세계 경제 독해 △신에너지·신소재 등 5대 의제에 대한 심층 세션이 열렸다.

대표단은 공식 세션 참석뿐 아니라 스타트업 CEO와의 간담회, 세계경제포럼 관계자들과의 고위급 면담 등 다각적인 활동을 펼쳤다.

24일에는 ‘이노베이터 커뮤니티 간담회’가 열려, 고영인 부지사와 함께 세계경제포럼이 매년 선정하는 ‘기술 선도자(Technology Pioneers)’로 뽑힌 한국 유망 스타트업 대표들이 소통했다.
이번에 선정된 기업은 △스마트팩토리 로봇 기업 로보콘(오산) △액화수소 솔루션 기업 하이리움산업(평택) △초소형 위성 제작사 나라스페이스테크놀로지(부산) 등이며, 지난해 글로벌 이노베이터(Global Innovator)로 이름을 올린 AI 반도체 기업 딥엑스(성남)도 함께 참여했다.

Gyeonggi Province Supports Innovative Startups' Leap onto the Global Stage…Building a Global Network of Technology Pioneers

The Gyeonggi-do delegation attended the ‘2025 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC 2025)’ held in Tianjin, China, from June 24 to 26, embarking on a full-scale effort to support the global expansion of local startups.

The delegation was led by Go Young-in, Deputy Governor for Economy of Gyeonggi-do, and included Kim Hyun-dae, Director of the Gyeonggi Fourth Industrial Revolution Center, as well as CEOs of startups selected by the World Economic Forum’s startup nurturing programs.

Hosted by the World Economic Forum, the AMNC—also known as the ‘Summer Davos Forum’—is held alternately each year in Dalian and Tianjin. This year’s theme was ‘Entrepreneurship for a New Era,’ featuring in-depth sessions on five major agendas: investment in people and the planet, outlook on China, industrial transformation, understanding the global economy, and new energy and advanced materials.

In addition to attending official sessions, the delegation engaged in various activities, including meetings with startup CEOs and high-level talks with WEF officials.

On June 24, the ‘Innovators Community Meeting’ was held, where Deputy Governor Go Young-in and CEOs of promising Korean startups—selected annually as ‘Technology Pioneers’ by the World Economic Forum—engaged in discussions.

The companies selected this year include ROBOCON (Osan), a smart factory robotics company; Hylium Industries (Pyeongtaek), a liquefied hydrogen solutions provider; Naraspace Technology (Busan), a microsatellite manufacturer; and DeepX (Seongnam), an AI semiconductor company that was named a Global Innovator last year.
